Day wise Tour Itinerary
Meal : Dinner
On arrival at Dharamshala Airport / Railway station. After that check in to the Dharamshala hotel take some rest in e and drive to Naina Devi (100 kms ) . According to Hindu mythology, Sati killed herself by jumping in the fire when her father Daksha Prajapati insulted her husband, Lord Shiva. It is the place where the eyes of Devi Sati fell. The word Naina is derived from this. After that drive 200 kms from Naina Devi toChintpurni Temple (112 Kms from Naina devi Temple), Chintpurni Temple is dedicated to Shri Chhinnamastika Devi or Chintpurni Devi. Chintpurni Devi is regarded as the Goddess who takes away all the worries. The term ‘Chhinnamastika’ suggests ‘without the head’. At the time of self sacrifice, part of Sati’s feet fell at this place. After it, drive 35 kms to Jwalamukhi Temple from Chintpurni. Jwalamukhi temple is dedicated to ‘GODDESS OF LIGHT’. There is a copper pipe in the temple from where natural gas comes out. Priest of the temple lights this. In the evening check in at hotel, overnight stay at hotel in Dhramshala.

After breakfast at hotel ready drive to Jawala Ji Temple. On the way 35 kms from Jwalamukhi temple to Kangra Temple It is located in Kangra town. Temple also known as Bajreshvari temple. It is believed that when Sati’s body was cut in to different pieces than some part of Sati’s body fell here.Jawala Ji or Jwala devi temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of India and Jawala Ji Temple is one of the highly venerated Shakti Temples in India.& other Sightseen Kangra Fort, Mata Brajeshwari Devi, Nagarkot Fort Museum, Gupt Ganga Temple, Museum, Shiv Temple, It is situated in the lap of Shivalik range of Kangra valley called “Kalidhar”. This is believed to be the first ever temple built by the Pandavas. Jwala Ji is a Devi Temple Dedicated to the “GODDESS OF LIGHT” located in Jawala Mukhi, district Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. Dinner & over night stay in Hotel Dhramshala.
Bagla mukukhi-:
Bagalamukhi” is derived from “Bagala” (distortion of the original Sanskrit root “valgā”) and “mukha”, meaning “bridle” and “face”, respectively. Thus, the name means one whose face has the power to capture or control. She thus represents the hypnotic power of the Goddess. Another interpretation translates her name as “crane faced”.
Jwalamukhi-:
Jwalamukhi is a famous temple to the goddess Jwalamukhi, the deity of flaming mouth. Raja Bhim Chand Katoch of Kangra, a great devotee of goddess Durga, dreamt of the sacred place and the Raja set people to find out the whereabouts of the site. The site was traced and the Raja built a temple at that location.[3] The building is modern with a gilt dome and pinnacles, and possesses a beautiful folding door of silver plates. Under the gaze of the Dhauladhar range and set amidst the undulating hills that character sub-Himalayan Himachal Sati’s tongue is believed to have fallen at Jwalamukhi and the goddess is manifest as tiny flames that burn a flawless blue through fissures in the age old rock

After breakfast proceed for Chamunda Devi Temple dedicated to the wrathful form of Goddess Durga or Chamunda who in Hindu Mythology is the symbol of female power. The idol of Goddess Chamunda in the temple is considered so sacred that it is completely hidden beneath a red cloth and is kept so always. Seek blessings from Goddess Chamunda & return back to Dharamshala for sightseeing.
We will start are sightseeing tour by visiting McLeodganj which has a distinctly different character, with its brightly painted buildings, Buddhist temples, prayer flags fluttering in the air and saffron monks and nuns hurrying along the streets. You will be visiting the main Buddhist temple or Tsuglagkhang (cathedral). It is believed that the temple resembles the one in Lhasa, and is surrounded by red and gold prayer wheels that are set in motion by devotees to scatter prayers in the air.
After spending time on the Mall Road we will visit Dal Lake along with Church of St. John in the Wilderness, built in 1860. Overnight stay at hotel.
